FAQ
Questions?
We've got answers.
A few things to know before bringing your next project to ScallerFox.
Do I have to manage Kubernetes manifests?+
ScallerFox is designed to abstract application-level deployment setup, including the YAML and ingress configuration typically needed to run supported services on Kubernetes.
Can I deploy directly from GitHub?+
Yes. Connect a personal or organization GitHub repository, select your branch and configure your application to start the deployment workflow.
How can I inspect logs and resource usage?+
The application dashboard brings deployment logs, container log streaming, CPU and memory metrics, and running pod information together.
How does usage-based pricing work?+
Each resource package shows a corresponding cost per five minutes. Review the current pricing and billing policy in the actual product before making a purchase decision.
What do I need for my first deployment?+
Start with an accessible GitHub repository, a container-buildable application, the correct service port, environment variables, and enough account balance for the expected usage.
What if my deployment fails?+
Open the deployment detail and inspect logs from the clone, build, and Kubernetes deploy steps. Verify the Dockerfile or build configuration, required environment variables, and application port before redeploying.
